Summary - Providing industry insight to support in platform selection process
Situation - Our client sought assistance to move its credit card book from a legacy system to a new cloud-based third-party platform while maintaining customer service, payment processing and regulatory compliance throughout the process.
Task - Define the target technology architecture and system design required to integrate the new service into the Partnership’s propositional ecosystem.
Action - Supplying two experienced architects, CBS completed the technology architecture and high-level technical design work for the agreed solution.
Representing the Partnership's architecture function, the CBS team worked as part of the overall programme team to support the selection process of the new service provider and define the "end state" enterprise architecture between the two organisations.
By deploying an experienced team who had been involved in other data migrations, CBS were able to highlight the pros and cons of various solution choices and provide insight to help the client make informed decisions to support their overall business objectives.
Result - A sucessful move to a new provider within a challenging nine month timeframe.
