Summary - Review and implement risk management frameworks for B2B and B2C fast growing European digital insurance company
Situation - Zego, a digital insurance company, needed to ensure its risk management framework was proportionate as it continued to grow in the B2B and B2C markets.
Task - CBS was engaged to review this and implement any required improvements.
Activity - Over a 12-week period, we deployed an experienced risk professional to:
- Review and update the risk management framework, including risk appetite statement, risk identification, classification, mitigation and reporting KPIs
- Roll out the new risk framework across the organisation, ensuring full adoption
- Design and mobilise Risk Governance & Oversight with supporting terms of reference, processes, procedures and reporting
Result – increased client capability and confidence through
- Final knowledge transfer and handover of all artefacts
- Aftercare: checking in after 3 months to ensure the governance and reporting was effective
